1.Band Size
π Underbust Size Calculation Rules:
Underbust Measurement: use a soft ruler to measure around the underbust (bottom of the breast).
- Less than 36 inches β use +4/+5 rule
- 36 inches and over β round directly to the nearest even number
Adjust the value:
If the measurement is less than or equal to 36 inches, usually add 4 or 5 inches to get the final Band Size.
Add 2 for even numbers and 1 for odd numbers.
π Conversion Example (Underbust β Band Size)
| Less than 36 inches |
Calculate Band Size | 36 inches and over | Calculate Band Size |
| 26-27 | 28 | 37-38 | 38 |
| 28-29 | 30 | 39-40 | 40 |
| 30-31 | 32 | 41-42 | 42 |
| 32-33 | 34 | 43-44 | 44 |
| 34-36 | 36 | 45-46 | 46 |
π‘Β Example:
- Lower circumference measurement 31 inches
31 is an odd number, so +5
31 + 5 = 36 (final Band Size)
- Bottom measurement 30 inches
30 is an even number, so +4
30 + 4 = 34 (Final Band Size)
2.Cup Size
π Measurement: Measure the Bust Size, which is the circumference of the fullest part of the breast. Then use Bust - UnderbustΒ to calculate the cup.
π Cup Calculation Chart (Bust - Underbust):
| Difference (In)Β |
Β Cup Size |
| 1 | A |
| 2 | B |
| 3 | C |
| 4 | D |
| 5 | DD (E) |
| 6 | DDD (F) |
π‘ Example:
If your:
Underbust 78 cm (β 31 inches, corresponding to 36)
Bust 93 cm (β 37 inches)
Cup calculation: 37 - 31 = 6 inches (corresponds to DDD/F)
Final size: 36DDD/F
